About the Team
The Shopping Experience team obsesses about making Doordash a daily habit for our customers. We help customers save time and money while making everything in their neighborhood available to order frictionlessly. We are the platform stewards of the core shopping & delivery journey for DoorDash customers, ensuring frictionless discovery, ordering and delivery with every order.
About the Role
As a member of our Shopping Experience design team, you will work on core surfaces used by millions of customers every day, and help envision features for our marketplace working with teams across the core consumer organization.
This role is on our Discovery team where key surfaces like our Home Page, platforms like search and browse, and our personalization / ML charters live. The mission of this team is to make it easy to discover anything on our platform, so you’ll also have the opportunity to work on core features that impact all of our products on DoorDash.

We’re excited about you because…
- You have 5+ years of work experience and a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to maintain a high bar for craft at scale and track record of leading and delivering results in a team environment
- You are an excellent storyteller and proactive communicator, and able to distill complex topics in a clear, concise, and thorough way to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Have worked on products and problem spaces of similar complexity and scope for consumers using multi-sided marketplaces
- Bonus: Have worked on discovery challenges in search / browse / personalization before, and can demonstrate how you navigated past challenges effectively.

Compensation
The location-specific base salary range for this position is listed below. Compensation in other geographies may vary.
Actual compensation within the pay range will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, base salary is localized according to employee work location. Please discuss your intended work location with your recruiter for more information.
