Role Summary

As a Product Marketing Intern at Skylark Drones, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the marketing team and contribute to the success of our products. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in product marketing, market research, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

Core Functions

1. Conduct product outreach to the target audience: surveyors, inspection companies, security companies, drone service providers, etc.
2. Assist in conducting Skylark Open houses (educational seminars, product demonstrations, etc) and invite target groups to attend the same.
   
3. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies. Create compelling marketing collateral, including product descriptions, blog posts, and social media content.
4. Analyse and present findings to contribute to product positioning and marketing strategies.
5. Track and analyze competitor activities, providing insights to inform product positioning and differentiation strategies.
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to gather information and insights for marketing initiatives.

Key Competencies/Skills

Mandatory Skills

1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, science, technology, or a related field.
2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and networking capabilities, with a local language preference.
3. Demonstrated creativity and ability to think outside the box.
4. Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
5. Proficiency in office tools and familiarity with social media platforms
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong organisational and time management skills.
9. Knowledge of ISMS/ISO 27001.

Qualifications

1. The ideal candidate is in the final year of their Bachelor’s Degree.
2. Proven track record in college events and their sponsorship activities, marketing, and other similar extra-curricular roles.
