About You and the Role
Zipline builds and operates fleets of delivery drones to get critical and life-saving products, fast, to where they’re needed. To power this, our software team is building out long term, scalable solutions to expand rapidly, while empowering our world class distribution centers to serve our customers as fast as possible.
We’re looking for full stack software engineers excited to work on our ability to track, communicate, validate, and visualize our fleet through a complex set of distributed systems. You will work on the applications that let us wrangle an ever growing fleet, with expanding autonomy capabilities. Our ideal candidate works well in startup environments, is comfortable wearing many hats, and can work with other engineers on the team to produce impressive results.
What You’ll Bring
- 9+ years of full stack with direct experience on React applications
- Proficiency in Typescript, React, React Native or Next.js
- For more backend leaning candidates: strong fundamentals in microservice design principles
- For more frontend leaning candidates: experience with human-robotics interaction
- Track record of validating full stack web applications from front end to backend test environments
- A desire to build high rigor, mission critical applications
Nice to Haves
- Experience using kubernetes, CDK, docker, and other cloud technologies
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka or CI/CD pipelines
What else you need to know
The starting cash range for this role is $170,000 - $210,000. Please note that this is a target, starting cash range for a candidate who meets the minimum qualifications for this role. The final cash pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, working location, and projected impact. The total compensation package for this role may also include: equity compensation; overtime pay; discretionary annual or performance bonuses; sales incentives; benefits such as medical, dental and vision insurance; paid time off; and more.
