About the Role:
We're seeking a driven and ambitious intern to help grow and join our dynamic Business Development team. This is an incredible opportunity to gain valuable experience in a growing startup environment, contribute to exciting growth initiatives, and learn from industry veterans. As a Business Development Intern, you'll play a key role in expanding Chalice Premium's reach and establishing strategic partnerships.
*Responsibilities: *
● Initiate, qualify, and develop new business opportunities through inbound and outbound marketing activities
● Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential acquisition targets, and new market opportunities. Analyze market data and prepare insightful reports to guide decision-making processes.
● Stay up-to-date with industry news, innovations, and market developments.
● Monitor and analyze competitor activities, products, and strategies to identify competitive advantages and areas for improvement. Develop comprehensive competitor profiles to inform the company’s positioning and market strategy.
● Participate in brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings to provide input and creative ideas for business growth. Help in developing and refining business development plans and strategies.
● Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify potential growth opportunities.
● Assist with the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns across various channels.
● Engage in client outreach and relationship-building activities.
● Learn to analyze data and key performance indicators to assess the success of business development efforts.
● Prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
● Generates new and innovative ROI-positive ideas
● Develop a basic working knowledge of CPG, beverage, and luxury industries
● Follow up with prospects on discussed or quoted projects
● Follow industry news for project announcements, sales, and transfer'
● Additional duties and tasks may be assigned to support Business Development efforts.
*Candidate Eligibility: *
- Current undergraduate students must be entering their Junior or Senior year in the Fall of 2024
- Current Graduate student
- Recent College Graduate: must have graduated less than one year before the start of the internship experience (May 2023-May 2024 graduates)
*Qualifications: *
● Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
● Passion for beverage and the wine and spirits industry (a plus!).
● Interest in market research, data analysis, and presentation skills.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Creative and a problem-solver with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
● Willing to chip in where needed -even beyond the scope of this description
