Environmental Science Internship/Volunteer

Footprint Intelligence is a growing startup in the Climate-Tech space actively seeking a sustainability intern eager to gain more experience in environmental science within a dynamic startup driven by a positive mission.

Duration: 5-month internship (at least), starting March 1, 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the calculation of CO2 footprints of companies
• Participating in the development of sustainability strategies and reports
• Involvement in projects to reduce carbon footprints and promote environmental compatibility
• Collaborating with various departments (consulting, product development, marketing, research)
• Assisting in the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements:

• Enrolled student in the field of physics, environmental sciences, sustainability, environmental engineering, economics, or a related field of study
• Basic knowledge in environmental management and sustainability
• Ability to effectively analyze and interpret data
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Independent working style and high motivation
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken

The position is part-time (20 hours/week) and, due to the early stage of the startup, is not remunerated.
