Inside Sales Specialist

Othram is the world’s only laboratory purpose-built to combine genome sequencing with advanced human identification applications. The laboratory, based in The Woodlands, Texas, is also the only facility in the United States or Canada offering end-to-end, in-house processing from forensic evidence to investigative leads. Over the last three years, this technology has helped law enforcement crack hundreds of cases at the local, state, and federal level, many of which had been unsolved for decades.

The Inside Sales Specialist is a full-time, onsite position that will be responsible for prospecting new opportunities and developing leads for the external sales team and account executives. This role will help to identify opportunities for new law enforcement and medical examiner clients that can benefit from Othram's forensic testing services. The Inside Sales Specialist may develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to clients.

Responsibilities for the Inside Sales Specialist may include:

• Identification of new potential clients through market research
• Outreach to new potential clients via email or phone to discuss Othram technologies and client cases
• Qualifying new leads and developing them into opportunities through prospecting
• Delivering qualified leads to the external sales team
• Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular and professional communications
• Documenting communication and sales efforts
• Achieving lead qualification targets
• Communicating results and activities to management

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferred experience in SaaS organizations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized with the ability to independently manage time and workload
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, in a fast-paced environment
• A familiarity with DNA forensics testing is preferred
