Full Stack Engineer

Azalio is an early stage startup that builds workforce management tools for SMB retailers. We are seeking a full-stack engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, natural language processing, and data privacy and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain AI-based products focusing on processing and interpreting people's data.
• Implement machine learning models and natural language processing techniques to analyze large datasets.
• Ensure the highest standards of data privacy and security in line with regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into broader system architectures.
• Continuously research and apply the latest AI trends and techniques to improve product functionality.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing AI and machine learning solutions, with specific expertise in natural language processing
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws and best practices in handling sensitive personal data.
• Proficient in programming languages
• Experience with AI development frameworks and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies
