Software Engineer (Data)

As a Senior Software Engineer you will build the systems to collect and curate data on healthcare systems and their providers.

This involves all elements of data engineering - ingestion, transformation, and infrastructure. But we also have a data curation process so the ability to understand full stack systems is quite important. Interest and ability in learning new tools and systems is must.

We’re an early stage company so the ideal candidate is someone who enjoys being highly hands on, is a generalist and comfortable learning new technologies. Our goal is to ship products as fast as possible, the candidate must be comfortable working fast, experimenting, and iterating to the right solution.

We’re building on AWS and trying to leverage serverless technologies as much as possible.

Responsibilities:
Build tools to help ingest data from external sources
Build pipelines to calculate metrics
Build tools to help data researchers curate our data set
Build pipelines to help update and refresh our data set
