Introduction

RxAll is a leading global digital commerce infrastructure platform for healthcare enabling digital drug quality authentication, inventory management, payments, insurance reimbursements, decentralised tele-care and financing for independent pharmacies and related businesses. We have subsidiaries in Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda.

As an innovative and fast-growing startup, we are embarking on an exciting journey to diversify into the world of decentralized finance (DeFi). As we set up a dedicated spinout for this venture, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Chief of Staff to join our leadership team. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO in the strategic planning, fundraising, team building, and overall management of the new DeFi business.

About The Role

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Collaborate closely with the CEO to refine and implement the strategic vision for the DeFi spinout.
    Conduct market analysis and provide insights to shape the business strategy.
    Develop and execute initiatives that align with the company's long-term goals.

  2. Investor Relations and Fundraising:
    Lead the development of comprehensive investor materials, including pitch decks, financial models, and other relevant documents.
    Act as the primary point of contact for potential investors, managing relationships and communications.
    Coordinate and execute fundraising efforts, including roadshows, presentations, and investor meetings.

  3. Team Building and Leadership:
    Oversee the recruitment process for key leadership positions and team members.
    Collaborate with HR to build a high-performing and diverse team.
    Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the new DeFi business.

  4. Sales and Business Development:
    Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth for the DeFi spinout.
    Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
    Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure effective go-to-market strategies.

  5. Operational Excellence:
    Work closely with department heads to establish and optimize operational processes.
    Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
    Implement best practices to drive operational excellence and scalability.

  6. Financial Management:
    Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
    Monitor financial performance against targets and provide regular updates to the CEO.
    Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.

Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in a Chief of Staff or similar leadership role, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  2. Demonstrated experience in fundraising and investor relations, including successful completion of funding rounds.
  3. Strong understanding of the DeFi space and emerging trends in blockchain technology.
  4. Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Track record of driving sales growth and business development.
  7. Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
