Technical Lead (Equity pay + Deferred pay)

Who we are

We are a revenue-generating global fintech platform and graduates of the Founders Institute accelerator. Our offer includes equity, and later, a cash salary.

After completing our MVP, a multi-vendor platform, and 18-month pilot, we need an engineer who can complete the build out of our next version, and conduct maintenance including various security and other updates.

Scale, stability and security are always top of mind for us, and as such the platform will need to develop with a view to expand to multiple countries using multiple languages.

• Engineer Job Duties

Take the lead in engineering the next version of our product

• Develop, test and deploy new features
• Identify the optimal stack and tools to enable scalability, performance and reliability of the solution
• Manage the project execution
• Collaborate closely with CEO, Product manager and UX designers for product and design decisions
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Contribute to building the next level engineering team with great culture

What your day to day will look like:

• Collaborate directly with CEO to identify priorities for developing our tech
• Take product direction from the leadership and turn it into working features
• Update platform in collaboration with team for marketing, security and other purposes
• Work with the current technology and define the necessary changes to make the platform secure and stable

Qualifications

• Experience with one of the modern tech stacks, preferably with JavaScript or TypeScript, React
• Ability to quickly prioritize, build and deploy technology
• Desire to learn and grow rapidly with the company
• Experience with Product and UX is a huge plus
