Role: AI Product Designer Internship

Location: Remote

Duration: 4 months with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity

Role Overview:

GENIE AI is seeking a talented and creative Product Designer Intern with out-of-the-box creativity and a strong understanding of UX design principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. They will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create seamless and user-friendly experiences that align with our brand identity and user requirements. The Product Designer Intern will be instrumental in crafting user-centric designs that enhance the overall product usability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Create visually engaging and user-friendly interface designs for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines and design standards.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand user needs and behaviors, incorporating UX best practices into the design process.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, user testing, and data-driven insights to continuously improve the user experience.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in UI/UX design, and proactively integrate new technologies and design trends into the development process.
• Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in UI design, wireframing, and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and best practices, with the ability to translate user needs into intuitive and visually appealing designs. -Solid portfolio showcasing previous UI design projects and demonstrating a strong grasp of design principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Familiarity with front-end development and coding languages (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
