Position Overview
We are on the lookout for an energetic and purpose-driven Marketing Leader to revamp our expansion efforts, aligning it with a PLG-driven website for full-funnel optimization. Reporting directly to the CGO, this role is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced marketing leader to shape every facet of our marketing strategy, from planning to hands-on execution. Our unique compensation package includes equity, offering you a stake in our vision. We ask for a minimum commitment of 24 hours per week. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive online marketing / growth strategy, focused on lead generation, partnerships, user acquisition, conversion optimization, and user retention, while aligning with a Product-Led Growth (PLG)-driven website and generating qualified leads for the Enterprise Sales team.
- Drive organic user acquisition through SEO, content marketing, and viral strategies, tapping into innovative channels to maximize growth.
- Create compelling designs & content for all our touch points - website, app stores, social media, communities, blogs, (and webinars, podcasts in the future) - and optimize the entire user journeys, ensuring a seamless user experience from awareness to conversion, and drive improvements at every stage.
- Implement data analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing performance, adjust strategies for continuous improvement, and report to the management team.
- Utilize data analysis to inform growth strategies, constantly identifying opportunities for improvement and adaptation.
- Build and lead a growth-focused team, instilling a culture of innovation, collaboration, and rapid experimentation.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to expand reach, create new acquisition channels, and amplify growth efforts.
- Implement A/B testing and experimentation methodologies to refine and improve growth strategies.
- Continually enhance Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) efforts by analyzing user behavior and improving conversion paths.
- Align growth strategies with MoodMe's commitment to ethics, privacy, and social impact, ensuring that growth is not at the expense of user trust.
- Manage sales budgets effectively, allocating resources to maximize ROI and growth.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in leading marketing / growth teams or functions, with a track record of successful organic user growth in a startup or tech company, minimum 6 years.
- Deep understanding of both Product-Led Growth (PLG) and Sales-Led Growth (SLG) approaches to effectively implement and adapt strategies to the company's goals.
- Deep understanding of SEO, content marketing, and organic user acquisition strategies.
- Experience with conversion optimization, including A/B testing and improving user journeys.
- The ability to develop and execute a holistic growth strategy while being open to experimentation and adaptation.
- Exceptional attention to detail, combining a passion for maintaining high-quality standards with the ability to deliver results swiftly.
- Show exceptional organizational and time-management skills to efficiently prioritize and manage critical tasks and projects, ensuring seamless execution.
- Passion for staying on the cutting edge of growth trends and embracing new, creative channels for user acquisition.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and decision-making, using data to inform and refine growth strategies.
