Responsibilities
- Craft and formulate strategic initiatives for partnerships related to both existing and emerging products and services.
- Act as the primary liaison for OBL's governance, actively engaging in forum discussions and facilitating on/off-chain votes as a delegate, with a focus on identifying new partnership prospects.
- Take charge of the entire sales cycle, overseeing activities from lead generation to successful closure for both pre-launch and post-launch protocols.
- Contribute to the enhancement of Growth team systems, aiding in the efficient scaling of the sales process, while nurturing opportunities with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance teams to validate and strategically position OBL within targeted verticals.
- Stay informed and offer insights into evolving trends within the DeFi landscape and related industries.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or governance within the crypto/DeFi space.
- Proven comprehension of the evolving DeFi landscape and its emerging trends.
- Demonstrated track record in structuring and negotiating initial partnership agreements.
- Possession of a well-established crypto-native network.
- Successful track record in selling products/services to DAOs through governance processes.
- Previous experience serving as a governance lead for a notable organization in a blue-chip protocol.
- Technical or mathematical background with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
