We are looking for a Business Development Manager in New York City to grow our network and build partnerships with local hotels and businesses.
Stasher is the world’s first luggage storage platform that connects tourists with hotels and stores that can keep their bags safe while visiting a city. Think of it as the Airbnb of bags.
We work with results-driven Business Development Ambassadors worldwide that can create partnerships with trustworthy hosts and help us increase coverage in their city.
The Opportunity:
If a flexible, field-oriented sales role with ample room for hands-on experience within a venture-backed startup piques your interest, Stasher might just be your perfect match. As our Regional Ambassador, you'll play a key role in onboarding businesses onto the Stasher platform.
Your responsibilities will span in-person visits, cold calling, and sending emails to potential partners perfectly aligned with our business model. You'll be based around New York City but the occasional business trip, fully reimbursed by Stasher, will also form part of your role.
This job isn't like a typical sales job where you have to convince businesses to pay money to join our platform. Instead, you get to tell them about an innovative opportunity they have to earn extra revenue. this is done by storing tourists' suitcases in their extra space using our platform. It's kind of like helping them start a mini business inside their own!
This full-time, contract position comes with a base salary and an additional commission for each business you successfully onboard onto the Stasher platform.
