Algorithm, Computing Research Intern

This position is for somebody who like working on a developing Algorithms which encompass software / maths and computing domains.

If you've enjoyed reading books like Numerical Recipes in C, or Art of Computing, Knuth, etc, you'll like working for this kind of project.

A bottom up approach in programming is required because the workflows are very original and need to be developed from scratch.

• Strong background in Data Structures, and Algorithms
• Ability to applying algorithms towards Numerical Computing, using packages like BLAS, SageMath, etc
• Past experience in building packages, and using tools like pip, cmake, etc
• Ability to use and understand variety of computing frameworks, pick ideas from research, and implement them
• Like to pursue independent research work
• Good with programming languages, in particular, Python, and one or more of C++, Go, Bash, Rust, etc
• Have contributed to the open source community

The results of this research is aimed towards the open source community. There is a potential to publish a research paper as part of this work.
