Internship - Backend developer (Python/Django)

We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a passion for coding, a strong foundation in Python and Django, and a desire to learn and grow as a developer. As a Backend Developer Intern, you will work closely with our development team to help build and improve our backend infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and test backend features and systems using Python and Django
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
• Work with other teams to integrate backend systems with frontend applications and APIs
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing systems and infrastructure
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in a Computer Science, Engineering, or related program
• Strong foundation in Python and Django, with experience in developing web applications
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Familiarity with SQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other backend technologies, such as Flask or Node.js
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, such as unit testing and integration testing
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
