We are seeking an accomplished Director of Human Resources with a strong passion for developing and executing HR strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and have a proven track record of building effective HR programs and processes that enable scalability. A collaborative business partner, with a hands-on approach, the Director of Human Resources will play a critical role in fostering a dynamic and engaging work environment that inspires and motivates employees to achieve the company's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted strategic business partner to the Leadership Team
- Develop critical metrics to monitor organizational performance and cultivate a strong corporate culture
- Develop and deliver training programs for managers and employees on performance management, compensation, and other HR-related topics
- Refine ProducePay compensation programs, benefits, and other employee incentives
- Promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at every stage of the employee lifecycle
- Lead, mentor, and coach people managers and direct reports
- Partner with Finance team on headcount management to ensure accurate reporting
- Manage the relationship with the PEO in the US and other countries
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive in the market
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field
- 7-10 years of progressive HR experience with a wide range of functional expertise
- Startup experience preferred, adaptable to fast-paced environments
- Experience managing HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, and employee records
- Fluent in employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, talent development, as well as US employment law and regulation
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and prioritize work effectively
- Spanish language proficiency desired
- Sense of urgency for anticipating/solving problems, the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Ability to build long-term and trust-based relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work within a collaborative team environment, influence and engage diverse audiences and stakeholders
- Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Local candidates preferred
