Eyewear Sales

Vue is the world's first smart glasses for everyday use. Vue combines your glasses, headphones and smartwatch into one. With Vue, you can listen to music, take calls, talk to Siri or Alexa, and track your fitness metrics, all through your glasses. Prescription lenses or sunglasses are supported.

Vue first launched in 2017 on Kickstarter, raising a whopping $2.2 million and becoming the top-grossing eyewear campaign of all time. Since then, Vue has sold to tens of thousands of customers in over 110 countries.

We are currently hiring someone part-time, remote, to introduce Vue into more distribution channels.

Responsibilities include:

• Reaching out to optical stores to carry Vue in their stores
• Onboarding opticians and eyewear store employees to correctly demo Vue and market Vue to their customers
• Interfacing with eyewear distributors and buying groups to carry Vue in their catalogs
• Leading discussions with eyewear chains such as LensCrafters and CVS Optical to carry Vue
• Interfacing with retail channels in the consumer electronics space to carry Vue, such as Best Buy and Target
• Working with insurance companies such as VSP and UnitedHealthcare to support Vue in-network

Skills required:

• Able to handle tech products - they tend to work well in your hands
• Superb interpersonal skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers
• Experience in closing the sales process with big box retailers a plus

Compensation:

• Compensation will be mainly commission-based, with a generous commission offered tied to sales volume

• Our main target markets are the US and Europe
• Part-time, remote is OK for this role
