Job Description

SUMMARY

We are looking for a leader to lead all of data migration activities from non-SAP to SAP HANA systems. The Data Management leader will be partnering with CIT Business, CIT IT Functional, and Vendors to deliver data migrations for ERP transformation projects.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Responsible for developing data management strategy and execution
Lead data migration initiatives
Collaborate and support business and SAP functional teams in collecting data migration requirements, data cleansing, transformation, loading, and validation
Prepare functional specifications, configuration, testing and training documentation
Identify and provide a solution to document business rules and derive transformation mapping by analyzing source data to translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Create data conversion and mapping documents for all legacy objects
Ensure master data quality is maintained through analysis, migration, validation, and audit procedures
Assist Data Governance and Quality team in defining and building governance rules and policies
Create S4 HANA Data Architecture and Data Migration artifacts
Support Data Analytics team in developing HANA Data models

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

8+ large scale ERP data migration projects with sound knowledge of SAP processes PP, MM, FICO and SD
Strong experience in using LSMW, LTMC, LTMOM, SAP HANA Migration Cockpit
Solid understanding of SAP Master data objects including Material, Customer, Vendor, General Ledger Account, and Cost Center
Experience in conducting requirement gathering sessions with legacy, business, and SAP Functional teams
Experience in planning and executing cut over activities
Strong knowledge of master data best practices and industry standards
HANA SQL experience
Experience working with Business and Enterprise Data Governance teams
Experience with data cleansing and defining business rules for setting up data quality criteria to build tools that will be used for maintaining data quality and integrity of the SAP system.
Experience with ETL tools preferably SAP Data Services (BODS).
Experience in a manufacturing industry.
Desirable to have SAP HANA Data Modeling experience (HANA Calculation Views)
