We are building our core revenue engineering (sales) team right now, so this is a high impact and high ownership opportunity with founding level equity.The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

What you'll do:
- Contribute to sales strategy and its execution to achieve the company’s sales goals
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for Shipmnts
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
- Demonstrate the value of Shipmnts's SaaS offering through email and phone communication
- Deliver product demos on the phone and in person
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Manage complex negotiations with senior-level executives
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
- Establish infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales and customer service on a global scale.
- Be part of a close-knit team that ships a phenomenal logistics experience every day
What you'll need:
- 2-5 years' quota carrying sales experience. Bonus would be a customer-facing sales role at a leading Ocean/Air Carrier, a financial services firm or a fast-growing enterprise software company with at least 12 months of closing experience
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems. (we use Hubspot)
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment & a bias for action
