The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will Develop and execute a strategic plan to maximize revenue growth through and commission structures that are aligned with regional business strategy and global market opportunities. The CMO will be an integral member of the Client’s Executive Management Team, working closely with the CEO. This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity within an innovative and expanding domestic and global organization.
Job Description
• Responsible for Business development & customer acquisitions
• Maximizes revenue opportunities by establishing effective carrier commission agreements and relationships within region
• Responsible for contingent commission budget and revenue growth through development of customer pipeline and customer acquisition
• Creates, manages and enhances sales targets and revenue model
• Identifies new product opportunities & offered by Client for further business development
• Implements Client’s International CMO best practices and other corporate marketing Initiatives
• Provides marketing approach to introduce SMASH and existing product enhancements to the customer marketplace
• Evaluates Client opportunities as part of the acquisitions and merger due diligence process and determines and gaps, risks and opportunities
• Develops acquisition integration strategy to create favorable commission arrangements with key markets & customers
• Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions
• Individual may perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• At least 10 years of experience in customer acquisition/BD in health care, digital health, lifesciences risk management, life and health insurance and bank related insurance products in a senior Marketing or leadership role
• Bachelor's degree/Masters
• Significant industry knowledge required
• Exceptional project management skills (ability to establish, develop, implement and execute marketing plans)
• Ability to interface and work collaboratively with colleagues and management at various levels within an organization
• Strong ability to influence, create demand and negotiate with internal and external clients
• Ability to think strategically and “out-of-the-box, “ while not being afraid to question and constructively challenge
• Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure without comprising quality or service – successful experience managing demanding deadlines, changing requirements, and working with limited resources and information
• Works effectively as a leader with all levels of the organization
• Keeps commitments, keeps other informed of work progress, timetables and issues, addresses problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions.
• Maintains a high level of professionalism, integrity and trust at all times
• Must be proficient in Microsoft office tools, including excel, PowerPoint
• Must be knowledgeable of industry standards and regulations and maintain all required industry licenses
