Community Growth Manager [NYC Area Preferred]

The NYC-based and fastest-growing social app Hula - Never Go To Events Alone is looking for additional Community Growth Manager to join its core founding team to work alongside the founder Hailey. [Open to part-time or full-time]

HULA is founded on a mission to bring back sense of belonging to current generations. To feel belonged is to be with people who share your passion and communities that support and grow with you.

This year, we've seen tremendous success in growing subcommunities on our platform and have discovered great potentials in working with community voice leaders/creators to build a collaborative environment where users can meet like-minded new friends, follow upcoming events and engage with creators.

We are hiring Community Growth Managers to build belongings.

*We are looking for someone who has/is *
1) Vision in community building on HULA
2) Able to leverage current product features, break into culture groups and onboard existing community groups onto HULA
3) Strong Gen Z knowledge/ Confident in culture comprehension
4) Strong understanding/personal experiences with ethnic community groups (AA, Hispanic, Asian, Southeast Asian, etc.)
5) Passionate about #communitybuilding #organicgrowth #localtalent

Founded by Linkedin, Google, Expedia, HBO, USC & UPenn alumni, HULA is an online-to-offline, community-driven friend discovery platform that connects like-minded people with belonged communities through shared offline experiences. HULA is now live on App Store, currently in NYC area and will soon-to-be expanded to West Coast cities this summer.
