The Role

KITE is seeking an Account Executive to report directly to the COO as our first sales hire responsible for running a full B2B Saas sales cycle. You'll initially have responsibility for every aspect of the sales process and over time have the ability and structure needed to build out KITE’s ideal sales organization. As a key leader of the Sales team, you'll help immediately increase the sales velocity and shape long-term company strategy to maximize the number of Global 2000 who benefit from leveraging the KITE platform.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of KITE’s products and industry
  • Become the pivotal member of our Sales team, reporting to the COO and directly impacting the future of the company
  • Become the first senior sales hire and a key growth leader at a scalable startup
  • Directly manage SDR and oversee all lead research, outbound campaigns and qualified opportunities net-new quotas
  • Speak comfortably about KITE’s vision and value to a broad range of audiences from executives to individual buyers/users
  • Run a full sales cycle, from prospecting to demos to signed contract
  • Own and maintain sales pipeline in Copper CRM
  • Hit monthly quota for net-new enterprise customer closes
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on KITE’s product, industry changes, and competitive landscape

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in high volume B2B of SaaS sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Experienced at running and truncating long sales cycles (1-6 months) and generating results
  • Proven track record of success hitting and surpassing sales targets
  • Experience in developing and motivating a small, high-performing sales team
  • Hunter-mentality in seeking out new business
  • Positive self-motivated personality
  • Motivated to own and build a world-class sales team
