User Growth Manager Intern

The NYC-based and fastest-growing social app Hula - Never Go To Events Alone is looking for a user growth manager intern to help grow our users in NYC. You will learn all skills required to grow mobile app users. We expect the intern to start in late Dec during the winter break.

Founded by Linkedin, Google, Expedia, HBO, USC & UPenn alumni, HULA is a mobile app that helps like-minded individuals connect with one another for all kinds of events. Hula was started from the realization that young adults love going to all kinds of events/conventions and how difficult it could be to find companion to go with.

As frequent event-goers ourselves, we believe that genuine connections are built upon shared experiences, something that current meetup and dating apps can’t provide. Hula offers a variety of local cultural events, recommends them to users based on their event interests and matches them with individuals or groups.

After we launched our product in Q3 2021, we have acquired 3k+ users and listed 4k+ events on our platform after launching in NYC for 3 months.

• Great communication skills and organizational skills to coordinate between engineers, stake holders and users
