Our Retention & Strategy Team team is seeking a talented Senior Retention + Strategy Campaign Manager with a passion for ecommerce and interest helping brands flourish across a variety of industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow into transition into leadership on the retention team.
You Will Be
Serving as the point of contact for development and management of individual clients, dealing with communication, execution and reporting for the Retention & Strategy Team
Campaign development, management and optimization working with 8 to 10 clients at a time in varying industries.
Project manage teams for seamless campaign implementation in Marketing platforms
Establish targeting strategies based on customer lifecycle segmentation & predictive analytics
Develop the email creative approach, brief clients on creation & production
Launch and QA new email campaigns on varying email service providers
Optimize existing campaigns with frequent multi-variant a/b testing of subject lines, time of send, content, etc.
Reporting, track and analyze weekly & monthly email KPI’s
Mentor junior team members in client management, campaign implementation, processee
Provide thought leadership for strategy - Retention + Strategy Team
Establish new processes for workflows for internal and external stakeholders
Solve complex problems for clients by understanding their business, its needs and industry and analytic trends
Manage multi-channel resource allocation, including spends across digital assets
Expand on existing strategies, add new services and research new platforms to create growth
Explain complex business and data insights to clients
Knowledge of both standard ecommerce funnel as well as b2b/lead gen funnel (how to build, optimize, etc).
You Must Have
4 - 6 years of email marketing or lifecycle marketing experience
Stellar project and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced atmosphere
Demonstrated people-management, teamwork and collaboration skills
Strategic thinking, prioritization skills and troubleshooting are in your DNA
Firm understanding of digital marketing principles, specifically email marketing best practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable with daily video conferencing calls
Demonstrated ability and experience advising/persuading C-Suite level executives
SMS knowledge a plus
Ability to work independently
Experience executing comprehensive list segmentation, lifecycle drip automations and triggered events within an ESP
Experience in Photoshop or figma, asana, copywriting, HTML/CSS
Broad understanding of email service providers
Most used include: Klaviyo, listrack, mailchimp Attentive, Postscript and/or CRM or Enterprise platform knowledge, project management tools
Knowledge of best practices for creating optimized email templates (including responsive design), dynamic content, testing methodologies, list segmentation, deliverability and CAN-SPAM laws
Experience with or understanding of web analytics (Google Analytics, daasity or similar)
Agency experience
