OTG is looking for A Senior Network and Desktop Support Technician who can work in a flexible and pragmatic environment.
You'll be given automomy to build and maintain the infrastructure for our customer management and support office. You will be wearing many hats until specific additional job roles are identified and then be involved in the hiring of people to fill those needs.
Employees in the office will have a mix of technical skills, and you will also be communicating remotely with other employees and the technical leadership of the company so being able to communicate across all levels of knowledge is essential.
This role will likely lead to line management and expanded responsibilities if you are suited to the environment you're working in.
Key expeirence and personality traits are:
- 3+ years experience in SME IT support and implementation
- CompTIA certification or similar
- Experience building and maintaining secure networks, vpn access and hardware support (desktop, laptop, conference call systems).
- Some experience working with cloud infrastructure would be ideal
- Pragmatic and responsible approach to the job
- Ability to plan and execute medium-to-long term goals with little supervision
- Confidence in building relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
