Senior Full Stack Developer

We're looking for a Full Stack Web Applications Developer (React, Redux, NodeJs, Docker, Kubernetes/AWS, MongoDB, RDS). You will be primarily responsible for developing frontend UI components that adhere to a specific style guide and can be reused across applications within our organization. You will also be responsible for backend server and API design and programming using modern tech stack and principles.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver UI and backend components across various sprints
• Prototype creative solutions quickly, and be able to collaborate with other team members to implement technical solutions
• Contribute and collaborate in creation and consumption of open, standard-based solutions
• Develop new user-facing features using React.js/Redux
• Develop APIs using NodeJS for Java backend server
• Able to research on the new UI technology trends and develop working prototypes to experiment and assess.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
• Collaborate with product teams and help improve internal and external developer documentation for final delivery
• Comfortable with open source development models

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of UI development experience
• Minimum 5 years of API design and development experience
• Very strong hands-on in HTML5, CSS 3, JavaScript, NPM, React JS, Redux
• Strong in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of ReactJS and its core principles
• Advanced React and Redux(Redux-Observable) skills
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Experience with a testing framework (Jest/Mocha/Jasmine)
• Strong knowledge in automated build and testing tools for UI components like Jenkins, etc.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels

Preferred:

• Experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker, Kubernetes, etc. or experience with AWS Cloud platform
• Experience in creating responsive designs
• Solid understanding of web/mobile application architecture and security (OAuth, JWT)
• Extensive experience implementing APIs (REST) via microservices
• Knowledge of emerging UX and visual design trends

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge and experience in creating APIs for large applications
• Proficient with databases, preferably RDS and NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Deep understanding of object oriented concepts and experience
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Any amount of experience with crypto and Web 3.0 technologies (IPFS, Arweave, Alchemy, dApps, smart contracts, etc.) or interest in learning
• Ability to identify inefficiencies and ways to improve design and development processes
