We are looking for an Operations Senior to join our team. Ultimately, you will be responsible for the managing day-to-day operations of our coworking spaces within Manhattan and take the lead on all event venue operations. We are looking for a professional that has long term goals to become a senior executive within our business as our business matures and grows. (The Farm is one of the fastest growing co-working spaces in the US. Pre and Post Covid!)
The role will be cross functional to be able to provide exposure from various different departments within the company. The ideal candidate will be interacting with the company CEO and CFO on a daily basis as well as C-Level members of the Farm Soho.
Responsibilities:
Developing and growing as an Operations Senior by attending and engaging in weekly meetings and by sharing strategic ideas to enhance the business.
Running it like it's your own company - by enthusiastically communicating with all customers during face-to-face office tours, take ownership of all follow-up to leave a lasting impression.
Ensuring building of a welcoming and collaborative co-working community environment amongst our members through events and building relationships between members.
Ensure that the spaces are fully operational, and processes are running efficiently and effectively.
To work with The Farm Soho Staff including our back-office teams to develop and maintain all aspects of our operations.
Answer any questions from members and guests related to the building including onboarding/sign up, policies and procedures, community etiquette, etc.
Be active on the The Farm Soho member network to engage members. (Including Slack and live networks)
Know and explain The Farm policies and procedures and communicate, inform, and update members. Ensure staff follows the The Farm Soho standard policies through creation of checklists and other internal controls.
Draft and send mass communications to all members when relevant communications are necessary. (Policy changes, important updates and major events)
Conduct physical walkthroughs to address any issues, escalating any recurring issues to senior management.
Execute the company sales and marketing strategy.
Identify the needs of the business, negotiate and obtain quotes from vendors/ suppliers. Assist in vendor selection and assessment.
Requirements
Experience within the Co-working and/or Hospitality sector is a plus.
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.
Project a professional demeanor as well as using tact when dealing with others.
The ability to build strong relationships through high-level communication skills, face to face, email and phone.
A strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills and the ability to focus under pressure.
A spark of creativity and an innovation driven mindset.
A desire to learn and grow within the company. Hunger to learn, develop new skills and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Office, Project Management & Sales / CRM softwares is a plus. (i.e Asana, Trello, JIRA, Pipedrive or Salesforce)
