Job Title: Test Lead (Automation)

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing technical thought leadership to QA engineers and testers across organization
• Developing a good understanding of SMARTe product suite from these perspectives: functional, architectural, and performance
• Assessing the testing requirements of each product and defines appropriate strategies and tools
• Developing practices and implementing tools to facilitate test-driven development with a high degree of test automation for highly scalable products
• Identifying potential risks in quality and working with product leadership in creating mitigation plans
• Responsible for developing performance criteria and leading performance testing to validate that products meet those performance requirements
• Responsible for leading Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) across products
• Responsible for planning, executing, and completing system and regression testing
• Identifying and implementing strategies to leverage the testing process and test tools to create reusable test assets
• Assistance to identification of consistent test data to be used across suites and solutions
• Ability to independently evaluate test automation tools, technology, and framework based on business requirements
• Planning hardware and software requirements for test environment setups and test resource requirements
• Resolving of impediments related to quality by collaborating with appropriate stakeholders
• Providing cross-training, education, guidance and feedback to QA engineers
• Suggesting and implementing process improvements plans, tracks their progress, and achieves objectives ** Work Experience & Skills **
• 6+ years of background with quality engineering skills on complex software systems (Web, Desktop, Mobile)
• Track record of working with cross functional team to provide test thought leadership on quality assurance
  
• Big Data Testing, Hive Bigquery, API Testing Exposure has added boost  Strong experience and knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies is mandatory for the role
• Should carry knowledge of setting up manual & automated testing process using tools & frameworks in the growth stage organization
• Prior experience with Software Quality Assurance processes such as defect triage, root cause analysis etc. important for the role
• Proven track record of leading quality assurance cycle including test strategy, test planning, test scenarios, test data creation and execution is must
• Experience with at least few functional & performance automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, QTP, JMeter, Load Runner etc. is must
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) testing using tools such will be a great value add
• Experience with acquiring, mentoring and ramping up testing talents
• Exposure to data engineering practice on data backed products with considerable data volume
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  Qualifications
  B Tech / BE / M Tech / ME or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant fields
