About the job
This role reports directly to Co-Founder and COO Paula Hernandez Forero. As our first marketing & community hire, your key responsibilities are organized in two main pillars:
- Marketing strategy
- Develop content marketing plan including definition of stakeholders, channels and messages
- Design and launch campaigns to communicate YaYa's value proposition and offerings
- Create engaging content (incl. images, videos) to be deployed across channels: social media, newsletter and blogs
- Community management
- Create content to be shared with the community on a daily basis
- Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness
- Monitoring, tracking and reporting on feedback from the community and developing recommendations to improve our offering
- Staying up-to-date with trends for professional and millennial women
About You
We're looking for smart, talented storytellers with a bias towards action, an eye for design, and a way with words. You might be a good fit if you are:
- A builder, owner, and doer who is excited to test & iterate different marketing strategies to grow YaYa community and following to 10,000+
- Passionate to grow communities and has experience with online marketing
- Comfortable writing and designing content for email and social media campaigns, including using Mailchimp, Canva, Figma, or other tools to create marketing templates
- Adept at building streamlined marketing processes from scratch and using data to analyze campaign effectiveness
Bonus points if you have early stage startup or consulting experience.
