Are you interested in the beverage industry? Building consumer brands? We are searching for a go-getter Content & Cult Marketing Intern to support the next phase of A Fresh Sip, a pioneer in the growing non-alcoholic vertical. We are currently wrapping up an extensive rebranding journey and we aim not just to market our products but to cultivate a cult following akin to brands like Liquid Death and Duolingo.
This role is a unique blend of creativity, strategic marketing, and brand psychology, tailored for someone eager to delve into the mechanics of building a brand that resonates deeply with its audience. We are looking for an eager and motivated intern who wants to see the behind the scenes of scaling a consumer facing brand.
We are a team of ex-tech entrepreneurs, consultants, TEDx speakers, and brand specialists who recognized the surge in demand for zero-proof and low ABV beverages and decided to build a platform and community highlighting this growing space.
This internship is your opportunity to be at the heart of a brand revolution and you will be working very closely with and be mentored by the founding team.
Internship Focus:
- Contribute to our efforts to build a cult following, drawing inspiration from successful brands like Liquid Death and Duolingo
- Manage and innovatively expand our social media presence across platforms, with a special focus on creating viral content
- Engage in deep research on what constitutes a cult brand, exploring strategies for emotional engagement and customer loyalty
- Support content management and creation, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our goal to become a cult brand
- Collaborate on strategic marketing initiatives, employing both conventional and guerrilla marketing techniques tailored to our unique brand identity
- Be at the forefront of developing and executing campaigns that not only sell products but embody a lifestyle and ethos that our audience wants to be part of
Requirements:
- Current student or recent graduate with a background in marketing, advertising, business, technology, or a related field
- Proven experience with content creation and management, utilizing tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- High familiarity with social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite), with a knack for creating engaging TikToks and Reels
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- A self-starter with a passion for learning, innovation, and an entrepreneurial spirit
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- 10-20 hour weekly commitment
- This is a 6 month part-time internship (with a possibility for FT during the summer)
Bonus Points:
- Experience in online content writing and marketing
- Experience or familiarity with AI automation tools & AI design tools ie. Midjourney
- Professional experience managing social media accounts
