Senior Software Engineer (Cloud Security)

Escape is a software consultancy for travel companies. We build technology systems that directly impact 95% of the airfares and airline content available online. We are seeking a senior backend engineer to join our team full-time, working remotely.

ROLE

• Develop solutions to secure applications, content and APIs used by various stakeholders in the travel industry, including airlines, global distribution systems, search engines, and travel agents.
  
• Collaborate with a team of architects, engineers, designers, and analysts to create exceptional enterprise solutions and software.
  
• Research, learn, and integrate new cloud technologies.
  
• Be customer-focused and a strong team player for maximum impact and fun.
  

REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for someone with:

• A minimum of 4 years of software engineering or architecture experience.
  
• The ability to design and build new software projects from the ground up.
  
• A willingness to learn new programming languages, such as Go (important).
  
• Experience with cloud services (preferably Azure and AWS) in one or more of the following areas: serverless architectures, API platforms, identity and access management systems, NoSQL databases, or containers.
  
• The ability to work with an international team across multiple time zones.
  
• Strong communication skills and impeccable English.
  
• A passion for travel and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
