Video Game Developer

Are you someone that finds joy in thinking of new ways to make learning fun? We're looking for like-minded individuals who are passionate to learn and eager to build games for kids to learn!

We are looking for a game developer to join us for a 3-months full time contract. There will be an opportunity to join us for a permanent role after the 3-months contract ends.

Requirements:

1. You believe learning is fun.
2. You believe in the power of games.
3. 1 year experience coding with either python/Lua programming

What will you be involved in:

1. Developing educational games that are fun and engaging on Roblox game platform
2. Taking part in the design process for educational games

Expectations

1. Good code practices.
2. Able to solve problems independently e.g. figuring out how to implement new features on your own
3. Able to design game systems e.g. quest system/game economy
4. Can speak and write in English
5. Provide updates on your progress
6. Be open to receiving and giving feedback
7. Meet task deadlines
8. Able to work remotely - we have a virtual office where we can work together in a virtual space if you prefer working in a team setting
9. Join team meetings - meetings will be scheduled between 10am to 6pm (GMT+8) on weekdays
