Reach is seeking a Growth Marketing Director to craft our brand voice, drive acquisition, and generally take our buzz to the next level, especially among our core female teenage user base. In this role, you will advocate and educate about the emerging virtualized friendship trend and Reach’s leadership role in it. As the world emerges from the pandemic, you will be in the cultural forefront of location-independent social interaction.

This would be the perfect position for an experienced consumer marketing professional with a hands-on growth marketing background looking to increase their responsibility and influence. You will have an outsized opportunity to determine goals, tools, and strategy. Management opportunities will abound as we grow.
This role is covid-remote to our HQ in downtown San Francisco, steps from the Powell St BART, but all applicants should be able to eventually spend 2-3 days/week at the office. This role will receive a salary, benefits, and equity. You will report to the CEO. No long-term remote applicants please.
Responsibilities:
Determine category messaging and product positioning.
Build and execute marketing plan to maximize platform growth, employing paid, owned, and earned media.
Manage existing team of marketing resources.
Contribute meaningfully to product vision, experience, and visual design.
Requirements:
6+ years in a consumer-focused marketing role. Bonus points for experience messaging to teenage females.
Fancy talk and grammatical skillz, with the maturity to suppress them when advantageous.
Comfort with all social media platforms, customs, and mores. A POV on both influencer marketing and traditional press strategies. A sensibility of what is emerging and fashionable among different demographics.
Knowledge of modern marketing tools, including ad consoles (FB/IG, GOOG, TT), marketing engines (Hubspot, GA), and creative suites (Adobe, Canva, Figma).
Ability to manage people and money.
A belief in the importance of honest, meaningful social interaction to fix social media, improve mental health, and make the world a better place.
