Software Engineer

We are based out of beautiful Vancouver, Canada, and looking for a creative+smart+passionate full-stack engineer who can jump in and make an impact from day one. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy and have hands on experience with all parts of our software, from the multiple front-end Angular/JS pages to the backend RESTful APIs.

This is NOT a job. It's a ‘call to arms’ for someone who is looking for a real challenge, loves to solve complex problems, and is passionate about their craft and would like to impact the lives of millions of people on a daily basis.

Must haves:

- Passion, smart, and resourcefulness
- 3+ years software development experience (agile/scrum)
- Knowledge and experience with web development (Angular, HTML, React, Javascript/ES6, etc)
- Extensive experience with Java and related frameworks
- Experience with SQL based relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and knowledge of other DB/architecture technologies
- Experience with AWS (EC2, S3, ElasticSearch, etc) and scalable DevOps design


Nice to haves:

- Experience with mobile development (iOS/Android)
- Experience with Machine Learning and AI (unsupervised)
- Experience with high-traffic apps/sites
