Senior Software Developer

Rocket Learning (www.rocketlearning.org) is a ed-tech social enterprise, building a product to support low-income communities with education for their children. The leadership (https://www.rocketlearning.org/meet-the-team) consists of alumni from IIT Delhi, Harvard Business School, IIMs, St. Xavier's, University of Rochester and other top institutes with experience of founding and leading organisations. Rocket Learning is funded by well-known organizations including Microsoft, Godrej, Central Square Foundation, ACT, Accel Partners, Nudge and MFE.

We work in partnership with large school systems and are working with 100k+ children in UP, Maharashtra and Chandigarh. Microsoft is a technology partner and is supporting us with “Microsoft for Startups” funding.

We are currently looking for a senior software engineer to work with our CTO and 5 member tech team to develop cutting-edge technology that will create impact at scale. The candidate will develop important product features to work at scale.

The candidate must have:-
• Experience in software development (3+ years of experience with Laravel PHP, SQL Server, Python, HTML CSS, JavaScript)
• Excellent communication skills to understand the needs of the team and deliver above expectations
• Project management and design skills to create and lead the development of new technologies
