The Role

We are Zapkad, an exciting Singapore-based start-up with a vision to disrupt a centuries-old industry – the paper business card, by offering a compelling alternative to improve the way we network.

Zapkad (https://www.zapkad.com) is a new digital business card app with Optical Character Recognition scanning, unlimited business card storage and newsfeed aggregator from over 100 global publications. Besides achieving cost savings, improved corporate image and productivity for organisations, it fulfils the current need for social distancing to exchange business cards without physical contact.

Your digital business card can be stored in a personal Zapkad NFC sticker or keyfob and contactlessly read by a smartphone. Prospects can instantly save your number to their phones without typing, improving the chances of a callback.

We are looking for a pioneer team of business development evangelists to join us in this thrilling and rewarding journey. This is a new and uncharted market, so the world will be your oyster.

The Job:
Business Development Evangelists are individual sales contributors responsible for promoting Zapkad to business organisations, with the opportunity to become team leaders within 12 months.
Responsibilities include:
• Identify and carve out your target markets and potential clients
• Identify B2B strategic partnerships that can cross-sell Zapkad to their clients.
• Promote Zapkad to your network of personal contacts and leverage on the network to identify potential clients and decision makers in the organisation.
• Conduct app demo to potential clients.
• Achieve monthly personal targets.
• Seek feedback from clients on future app enhancements.
• Attend to clients queries.

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree.
• Proactive in approach to sales opportunities.
• Experience in B2B sales or business development are preferred.
• Fresh graduates with strong communication skills and leadership experience in extracurricular clubs will be considered.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Good understanding in the usage of social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram.
• Independent and self-disciplined as you will work from home most of the time.
