Xbiome careers

Xbiome is a world leading AI-driven microbiome therapeutics company, that combines machine learning, bioinformatics, animal and human studies for microbiome drug discovery. Xbiome is led by a multi-disciplinary team of scientists from MIT, Harvard, and industry experts from world-class pharma companies, like Pfizer, Merck and Vedanta.

Currently, we have three on-going FMT clinical trials targeting three different disease areas: ASD(Autism Spectrum Disorder), cancer immunotherapy and graft-versus-host disease. We already submitted one IND in 2020 and more in 2021.

Besides FMT, Xbiome develops both data-driven and evidence-based approaches for consortia design and metabolites discovery. We have built multi-omics bioinformatics platform to generate and process large-scale microbiome data; then apply the data into machine learning models to generate hypothesis and promising candidates. We also built an in-house microbial knowledge base to help interpret predictions.

Xbiome also established FDA-compliant CMC platform and world’s leading in vitro and in vivo facilities and gnotobiotic animal model platform for mechanistic and culturomics studies.
