In business for 20 years, Work-Learning Research, Inc., has focused on utilizing scientific research to improve learning effectiveness for workplace learning professionals. After having developed a radical new approach to learning evaluation, as outlined in an award-winning book, we are taking the next step and building it out into a SAAS product. Why us? Well, us is me, Will Thalheimer, PhD. I'm dedicated to bringing research truth to help professionals build more effective learning interventions. With this new venture, I want to build a great place to work, to continue building a research base, to radically transform learning evaluation to finally give practitioners valuable information to help them monitor and improve what they are doing. This may seem idealistic, but it has great commercial potential as organizations have struggled with the learning-evaluation problem for decades (okay, forever). The sustainability of this effort is also based on a strong reputation for high-integrity, science-based thought leadership, and business savvy.
