Wise Therapeutics careers
Wise Therapeutics is a digital therapeutics company focused on solving pervasive behavioral health challenges with game-based micro-interventions. We combine novel neurocognitive training techniques with gamification to achieve meaningful clinical impact with high patient engagement.
Our initial digital therapeutic has launched as Personal Zen (currently available on iOS and Android) which has been widely featured in consumer publications as a scientifically validated casual game. Now, the acceleration of the prescription digital therapeutics (PDT) market has significantly expanded our opportunity to commercialize a pipeline of adaptive game-based PDTs targeting a range of therapeutic areas. PDTs are reimbursed similar to medical devices and pharmaceutical products, creating the massive new opportunity for “software as medicine.” Our cognitive training technique has demonstrated efficacy through seven NIH-funded placebo controlled clinical trials, based on the research of our Co-Founder and Chief Science Officer Dr. Tracy Dennis-Tiwary.
Wise has published proof-of-concept clinical validation across generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety disorder, alcohol addiction, perinatal anxiety, and MS-related anxiety. Wise’s clinical research and real world product deployments have been conducted in collaboration with leading medical researchers and practitioners at NYU Langone Health, College University of New York and Weill Cornell Medicine’s Clinical & Translational Science Center.
Current investors and team members include leaders and strategists who have founded and exited multiple healthcare companies and worked on DTx strategy for Roche, Genentech, Bayer, and the leading FDA approved PDT companies. We are seeking partners to invest behind this strategy, allowing Wise to take advantage of our time to market advantage to offer a range of effective PDTs, delivering on accessible treatments for patients across the world.
