WEAT is taking advantage of a pivotal moment in the restaurant industry's history to solve pain points in the takeout/delivery space that have been around for years: consumers are tired of paying restaurant prices for a suboptimal experience and restaurants are tired of getting crushed with fees. WEAT is entering the space with a managed marketplace for experiential meal kits and has been getting a lot of love from Forbes, The New York Times, Thrillist, TimeOut New York, and other publications.

At WEAT, our long-term vision is to transform the at-home restaurant experience and elevate an industry that is 4-8x less efficient than other retailers. WEAT will be the platform that enables restaurants to seamlessly enter people's homes in new and revolutionary ways - specialty grocery, CPG, ghost kitchens, partnerships, etc. - by more effectively leveraging restaurant brands and proprietary customer databases.

The WEAT team - comprised of ex-BCGers and hospitality experts - has been executing for 8 months. With 6 restaurants on-board and months of traction and customer data to inform our post-pandemic strategy, we are in the midst of raising a pre-seed round to fuel our next chapter of growth.
