PGN is an alternative solution to existing automated metering infrastructures for water.

The problem to upgrade a water network with basic meters to a smart network costs $300-$500 per meter. The deployment is time consuming as each meter needs to be replaced, new radio transmission units need to be installed and a new wireless network needs to be designed and installed.

PGN replaces the lid on the meter boxes, reads the meters using a camera, utilizes OCR to convert image to numbers and transmits the data to the server by an LTE modem and runs on battery for 20 years.

We will sell the product to utilities for a systematic installation. Our initial market is San Diego County Water Utilities. Next target area is entire southern California including Orange County and Los Angeles County.

PGN Cloud analyzes the consumption data and provides utilities and consumers information on various platforms. Data service and analysis will be provided as a service.
