Culture and benefits at Wantedly

Our purpose in Japanese is シゴトでココロオドル人をふやす which translates to, Increase the number of people whose hearts dance through work. Every company and individual will have their own definition of what it means to have one's heart dance at work; so what's ours? Our definition of a dancing heart: 没頭することで成果を出し、成果によって成長を実感する Bottou suru koto de seika wo dashi, seika ni yotte seichou wo jikkan suru Focus, produce results, and through those results realize your growth. At Wantedly, we want to have a visible impact on society. We want to change the way we find work and put people in positions where they can thrive. If we can produce real results at work then that will take us ever closer to our purpose. If we can understand how we produced those results, we can realize how we improved upon ourselves and grew. For us, that is what makes our hearts dance at work. In order to help us do the above, we have tried to create an organization that allows each individual to focus, produce results and then realize their growth. We were inspired by Dan Pink's book 'Drive' which talks about what motivates us. You can see his TED talk below!
