vWorka is a mobile-first hiring marketplace built to make hiring simpler for businesses and job discovery easier for workers.

Today, hiring local workers can be fragmented and inefficient. Businesses often rely on WhatsApp groups, referrals, social media, or piles of CVs to find people, while workers struggle to discover relevant opportunities in their area.

We’re building a simpler alternative.

Workers create a profile based on what they can do, where they can work, and their preferences. vWorka then helps them discover relevant jobs and apply directly. Employers can create jobs manually or use AI to turn unstructured job information into structured job listings.

We’re starting in Lagos and focusing on local hiring across blue-collar, grey-collar, and other roles where traditional hiring processes can be unnecessarily difficult.

Our long-term vision is to build an intelligent hiring platform that helps businesses find the right people faster while giving workers better access to opportunities.

We’re currently building the MVP and working closely with early users and employers to understand what makes local hiring actually work.

We’re a small, early-stage team, which means there is a lot to build and a lot of room for people joining us early to have real ownership and impact.
