We are taking a technology proven at campus scale for decades and upgrading it to work efficiently as urban mass transit. In ten years we plan to be serving 1.6 million mostly poor people with two or more daily trips - a total of over a billion annual trips! We bring additional benefits to those not using our system by reducing congestion and mitigating climate change. We are initially focused on third world countries that are suffering from terrible congestion and failing transportation systems. This is a huge and exciting challenge. We aim to build local companies using local investments and employees wherever possible. These profitable businesses will manufacture/assemble the technology, build and operate the transportation projects and provide training and good jobs. In many cases they will export the technology to other countries. Beyond providing better transit, our objective is to uplift the local economy. Vuba's team has decades of experience with this technology (automated transit networks - ATN), legacy versions of which have completed over 300 million injury-free passenger miles. While ATN is easy for the user to understand and use, it is relatively complex to design, build, integrate and operate. There are many moving parts that require a systems engineering approach to be optimally developed and integrated. Our CEO formally worked for two ATN suppliers. Our CTO has consulted to and/or met with/reviewed the work of dozens of ATN suppliers. A few of these suppliers are modestly successful. Most are not. We see familiar mistakes being repeated often. We have come to understand what works and what does not. We truly believe our team is head and shoulders above most in understanding all the aspects of ATN. We need to fill many roles including in our C-team, department heads, technical and support staff.
