Culture overview
Our mission is to give founders a better chance of success. Our goal is to connect over 5,000 startups to investors by 2025. Visible has been remote-first since we started the company in 2014. We believe people should be able to work where, when and how they want. We haven't never bought into the idea of work/life balance. There is just life. Our values reflect how our work plays a smaller role in that: - Inside Out: We need to take care ourselves first, then our team members, followed by our customers and lastly our stakeholders. If we follow that order we'll build an enduring culture and great place to work. - Harmony: We should bring harmony and balance to everything we do. Sometimes we need to move fast, other times we need to take the foot off the gas. - Do the difficult: The hard things are worth doing. We do not shy away from hard conversations, problems or opportunities. We should confront them head on. - Be proud: We should be proud of our work product. We should celebrate team members and give thanks on a weekly basis. Travel and offsites have played a major role in addition to our mission, vision and values. Each year we get together twice to dream big and have fun. We've been to Copenhagen, Dublin, Chicago, Montreal, Lisbon, Barcelona and Amsterdam.
