VillageDefense v1.0 let's you:
- When you see a crime, instantly alert everyone around you. A “one-to-many” witness maximizer. What if for every crime, instead of 1 witness there were 50?
- Get alerted when crime is in progress close to your current location, wherever you are, with real-time updates from the people around you. (Waze for crime)
- Sonya the Crimebot searches publicly available data sources (like Police) and shows you what you need to know.

We combine this live crowdsourced data with other sources, building the world's best database of accurate, comprehensive crime data, affecting industries like insurance, real-estate, and transportation.
