Role:
We are seeking a coachable, hard working, analytically inclined individual to help improve all things Analytics at Pepper. Working directly with the Business Operations Manager responsible for Analytics, this Analyst will be responsible for executing on bespoke dashboards for internal and external teams by leveraging their SQL and google sheet modeling skills, in addition to troubleshooting existing reports, and generally owning all analytics related workstreams. The ideal candidate is someone willing to take initiative in finding new opportunities, and owning the end to end solutions for them.

Individuals interested in this role should be willing to demonstrate their analytical rigor, including being able to speak on their ability to set up complex models, make them visually appealing, and explain how they work to less technically inclined stakeholders. This role will require someone with a strong motor, the ability to ask questions and learn quickly, receive feedback graciously and implement it quickly, proactive communication skills, be able to adapt into a growing and changing environment, and most importantly, a positive attitude.

Salary:
USD $80,000 - $110, 000
Equity 0.084 - 0.029

Key Responsibilities:

• Build analytical solutions (dashboards on BI tool / Google sheets) for internal and external stakeholders using SQL, Snowflake, Holistics, and Google Sheets
• Triage requests and prioritize issues according to their severity with the help of the Business Operations Manager
• QA all work to ensure accuracy
• Join core workstreams to represent the Analytics team. Partner with stakeholders on projects and share perspective on timelines and feasibility
• Be delivery-focused, have a passion for technology, and enjoy offering new ideas and approaches
• Work with distributed teams in multiple locations worldwide

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements:

• Based out of Toronto
• Previous experience in Consulting/Investment Banking
• 2-4 years of work experience
• A positive attitude – work may be challenging, but it becomes fun when we’re in it together
• The ability to take and implement feedback quickly, and coach back in all directions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
• Analytical and problem solving skills, including SQL and Google Sheets mastery, and knowledge of data modeling
• A passion for exploring new software, ability to grasp new concepts and learn quickly
• The ability to look for answers before asking questions, through tools like ChatGPT 4
• The motor and work ethic required to work in a fast growing, Series A startup
