Uproot careers

Uproot is a modern plant-based dairy company that combines delicious products and convenient machines to create turnkey solutions for the food service industry.

Our first product is a bulk plant-based milk dispenser program for large cafeterias, which we launched in April. We have a supplier agreement with the largest food service operator in the world, Compass Group. We are also stocked by the three largest distributors in the country, Sysco, US Foods, and PFG.

We were inspired by our own experiences with plant-based milk in college (low quality, poor nutrition, lack of variety, wasteful cartons). Our approach solves all of these problems, as validated by our customers and end-users. Chef Rob Burnell said our soymilk is “the best soymilk [he’s] ever tasted!” Surveys from more than 300 students show that 83% prefer Uproot to the plant-based milk being offered in their dining hall. Some of our first customers include Brown University, Tufts University, University of Southern California, and Meta (Facebook) San Francisco.
