The first version of UpKeep was developed in 2014 by our Founder & CEO, Ryan Chan, while living in his parent's garage. He was frustrated with the outdated desktop software being used in the manufacturing plant where he worked— so he quit that job, leaned to code, and focused all of his energy on creating UpKeep.

Today, we’re a Series B startup that's raised $50M in venture capital and recently surpassed 100 team members. We proudly serve important industries like manufacturing, energy, agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, transportation, public works, and building management. We have become the top-rated Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solution by constantly innovating and always putting our customers first.
